We are starting to settle in, well sort-of. When it comes to moving we are lucky, we have done it so often it doesnt take much to get us feeling at home again. I have unpacked about half the boxes, my washer and dryer are hooked up, we have wireless and cable, and food in our cupboards. That makes home to me. Add to that I am listening to my children bicker as they attempt to work together in unpacking the boys home, and it's life as usual.
The one major difference, at the moment, there is nothing I have to do, no place I have to be, and no one waiting for me to do something. Just me, the kids, and Daddy for a few hours a day. Its weird, but I think I'm gonna like it. Tyler woke up all puffed up again today, so I gave him more Benadryl and he climbed into bed next to me. We slept til 10.
I need to do laundry. The only Major flaw I can find with this house is the laundry is in the garage. I am very unmotivated to step into the garage to start the laundry... it is HOT!!! Ok, so it's only 95 outside but I think that makes the garage like 150. Least it feels that way.
I have been very motivated since we got here. Everyday has been filled with unpacking, shopping, running errands and arranging for things to be done on the house. But today I am UNMOTIVATED. I already admitted I slept in, now I am lying on my o-so-comfy bed thinking about just staying here all day, or maybe Ill move to the recliner and watch an NCIS marathon on USA. Brady will not be home for dinner, he is taking the guys in his training class to dinner, so I have already decided we will be having Eggos. So maybe today I will set a much less lofty goal, today, rather than finishing the rest of the boxes, or teaching my children to play the piano, sing opera or reading Les Mis, I think today is just about laundry. Today I will wash 4 loads of laundry. I think I will go one step further, today I will not only wash 4 loads, I will dry, fold and put away 4 loads of laundry!!! (while watching an NCIS marathon on USA) I am off to accomplish my goal, wish me luck!

I have the same goals for the day Amanda:) I have to step it up a notch by dinner time tho-my parents are spending the night here, on their way to the airport! So, I guess that I have to get dressed sometime today-darn!

ReplyDeleteOk so I have a sugestion! send Trina And Tyler to the garadge to do the laundry and switch loads you just fold them in the AC house carter can put them away!! Love you miss you!!
