So T has been weird sick the last 3 days with a high fever and all over body aches that comes every 10-15 hours, then a 1/2 hour after advil hes all better. He says his head hurts, his neck hurts, his back hurts, his eyes hurt and his face swells up. He is in so much pain when it hits he starts crying uncontrollably and the fever gets so high he shakes like a leaf. So after 2 days I took him into the dr. Dr Scott said, "Id say its the flu, but not exactly the right time of year. So lets hope for strep because one of the alternatives is menangitis, and that would be bad."So after a rapid strep culture there was a faint positive line. So T is on really strong antibiotics and we are going back tomorrow. Supposed to be much better by then, but as of this morning we are in the same place we were yesterday. And T like most men in the world is not a good sick.

Well, as Elizabeth said we moved in on the 4th of July. Brady had to leave town on the 6th and is going to be gone until the 24th with quick 24 hour trips home 3x's. So if I wanted him around for the process, we had to do it that weekend. Of course as Brady stated, I have done this enough now, I don't really need any help. But it's nice to have him around for moral support. The Bishop and RS presidency came by on Sunday and T got invited to cub scouts. We have felt very welcomed here. K is anxious to find out when achievement days is. C has loved being on a culdesac, as it allows him to ride his bike for hours. He upgraded last summer to a 2 wheeler, and so we have gone through 2 boxes of band aids, a tube of neosporin and a roll of first aid tape since we moved in. We have definitely tested Aunt Elizabeths first aid knowledge.

Brady has been very busy this month. We hired a full time empoyee in May, and have kept him busy on local jobs while Brady is galavanting around the country programming Automation Systems. He spent last week in Calgary, this week he's in Beverly Hills, this weekend he's somewhere north of LA. He comes home Sunday and leaves Monday to go back to Calgary for 3 days, home for a day, then over to Colorado for a few days. We are hoping after this he will be home for a week or so.

It has been really nice to have Elizabeth here. She is a huge help. She keeps an eye on the kids for me when I work early in the morning. So I dont have to wake everyone up at 6 to go to the gym. It's been fun to watch her go through this preganancy and remember mine. We are really excited to have a baby in the house, ecspecially one that doesnt belong to us. I am also really excited to see Megan and Ben and meet Thomas. C is so excited to see the baby that is named after him.

Well, Ill post more later... K is yelling at me that the TV dinner she nuc'd for me is done. We eat well when dad is gone.

So Christopher has been here visiting and spending a lot of time up camping. So a few nights ago, he asked to borrow our car to go up the canyon ... again. I needed mine early, Brady had to work so we said no. He asked if he could take Matts car.. sure, why not. Well it died on him somewhere out of cell range, so he hitchhiked down the canyon and caled me (at midnight) to drive up and get him. So 3 days later, "Christpoher, you ever gonna go get that car?" SO Brady drives him to the canyon. As they enter the canyon Brady stops and pays the $6 entrace fee and Christopher tells him if they went up after 9 they wouldnt have to pay. Can anyone guess where this is headed? So they get to where the car had been, and imagine their surprise when the car wasnt there. It was towed. So they get back down here and I tell Chsitpopher he needs to find out where it is and will have to pay to get it out. He wasnt happy. But agreed to it after a short lecture about the responsibilities of an adult and borrowing someone elses car. THis is when Allen says, "but the car doesnt belong to any of us." hmmmm....... So i txt matt "the car was towed" "ok" "We'll try adn find out where it is" "ok".... Appartenly he's not worried about it, so i guess im not either.

The move starts tomorrow. Christopher said he wanted to count it on his hours. I told him that this was a nephew thing, or did he want me to call his mom and ask what she thought. He quickly said, "Love to help Aunt Mandy!" So the sauga begins tomorrow. I am feeling very apprehensive and nervous about this whole thing. NOt like tis wrong, just not sure of what the futre is going to hold for us. Guess theres only one way to find out. Here we come!!! Ill write more later but may be off the internet for a couple days. Not sure how that will go over. We are computer addicts i this house.

So this weekend we started moving the food storage. Brady complained about what a pain it is to move. I told him to bring it up with President Monson. He said he already knew what his responce would be. I said, "yep we have to have it." He said, "No, he'd tell me to stop moving."

Hmmmm..... guess he's got a point there. So yesterday was spent driving back and forth to the new house, and waiting for some random person to drop off a car for Matt. He txt'd me in the morning to say he had a friend bring a car to SLC for him, could they park it here for the night til he could come get it. Of course my responce was, "is it stolen?" After much assurance the car in fact actually belonged to a friend of his, I agreed to take it over night. That was when I found out the friend had actually skipped parole and was going back to jail, but she told Matt he could have her car.

Ok... then a few hours late here come this early '90 ford tempo? with 2 guys in it. Apparently they had been hitchhiking when this friend of Matts picked them up and drove them to Eugene to visit some friends. Then they all went to Nevada where, while the guys were getting a beer, the girl was arrested for "theft of a casino." After her bail was set at $150K, she told them to use her phone to call Matt and just tell him she'd be gone for a few years and he could have all her stuff. So that was when Matt asked Matt and Chris to bring the car to Utah and he'd get it from here.

This is starting to sound like a really bad comedy. Anyway, now we have a random car parked out front, and matt txt'd last night that the girls mom wants the car so he probably wont be coming to get it unless she pays him to. So that is the latest here, how about there? I've been checking every ones blog, no one has been posting.

We signed papers today on our new house. I have attached the add for it and the pictures. We had to sell the trailer for the down payment, and that sucks, but Brady says I cant have my cake and eat it too. Is that true? I thought us Oborn Girls could have it all. Anyway, we take occupancy the 15th, but can start paiting, adnmoving in whenever. So we now have lots of room for you all to come visit.

This beautiful 4300 sqf home is in Highland. This home was built in 2000. Tucked back off the main road in a quiet culdesac with a chapel directly behind makes for a peaceful neighborhood. Wow, my husband sure didn't know what he was getting when he asked an Oborn to marry him 12 years ago. It takes a strong man to sign on for the wild ride that is life as an Oborn. I am happy to hear all the good news trickling down from the north about Ray and baby Abigail. They are still in our prayers daily and our thoughts regularly, as they continue along the long windy road ahead of them. Elizabeth and Allen are currently living with us. That is going well. There have been surprisingly few issues. Allen has enrolled in school, will start in the fall. He also interviewed at sears yesterday and re interview on Monday with the GM.

Brady and I have been looking at moving...yes, again!!! The home we are in came with a 2 year agreement to purchase or vacate. It is not a home we want to purchase and with the market the way it is right now, the agreed purchase price is way too high. We had a new home picked out we were very excited about, but then decided it just wasn't for us, so the hunt continues. We have time to decide, so we'll see. The problem is I get very emotional about the whole process, and the idea of what a house "could" be. So Brady made me make a list of priorities, and if a house doesn't meet 90% we wont even go look at it. (least he doesn't, I still drive by sometime, just in case)

Husbands-
Last night, after a very exhausting week and Brady being gone for almost 2 weeks, I broke down and balled all my stress out to Brady while in bed. After 15 minutes I said to him, while lying on my back staring at the ceiling, "what do you think?" He answered with a mumbled "huh?" He had been asleep. I was so angry. So I said "forget it"- "No I'm awake, whats up honey?" so I started all over. He put his arm around me and said I worry to much and we'll talk about it in the morning. So after I get out of the shower I said- "wow, what a lousy night. I didn't get any sleep." "you didn't?" said my kind, loving husband "why?" "Um, cuz I was crying on your shoulder all night.." "You were?" HE WAS ASLEEP THE WHOLE TIME!!!! MEN!!!!

Anyway, summers going good- when does school start again???? Katrina is in summer school for 3 hours T-F. The boys are bored out of their mind and it starting to get too hot. It has been a mild summer so I cant complain too much.

Love you guys, Amanda

Not much new going on in our lives. We went to st. george with some friends for spring break and had a great time We went hiking, explored ghost towns and did lots of swimming. Brady has made a couple trips to California over the last few months. I went to Ohio to visit a friend and do a vinyl party last week. I had a lot of fun, and the party went really well.
Elizabeth is staying with us for a few months while her husband is at basic training. We are really enjoying having her around. She is a great help around here.
Well, at some point Ill take a minute and post some pictures... hope all is well with all of you.
